Man asked friends to pick him up days before disappearance

CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) – Conway Police are currently searching for a missing man.

According to public information officer LaTresha Woodruff, Daniel Horton, 28, was scheduled to return to Recovery Centers of Arkansas on June 30 but had called several people a couple of days before, asking them to pick him up. He hasn't been seen since. Police advised that Horton does have brain damage from an injury that left him disabled and in need of care.

His mother, Woodruff said, didn't think the calls in the days leading up to his disappearance were out of the norm because she thought he was just wanting to see friends before he left, but when she woke the next morning, he was not home. She has apparently not heard from him since.

Woodruff added that any calls to Horton's voicemail are immediately sent to voicemail, and his phone bills do not show any calls or texts transferred since June 30.

In addition, Horton has apparently left all of his belongings at home aside from the clothes he was wearing and his phone.

Horton reportedly knows a woman in Little Rock names Lisa that he sometimes visits, but police do not have any contact information or knowledge as to where she lives.
