Motorcycle crash on I-30 near 6th Street exit leaves one dead

Name released of the motorcyclist killed in I-30 wreck

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- One person is dead after a motorcycle crash on I-30 East.

Roger Turner lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a light pole on the concrete dividing barrier on I-30 East near the 6th Street exit around 7 Saturday night, according to Arkansas State Police.

Turner died in the crash. A large group of motorcyclists gathered near the scene of the accident on the eastbound side. 

I-30 was re-opened to some traffic around 9:30 Saturday night.
