Disaster Recovery Fund activated for northeast Arkansas flood victims

THV11 Helping Home & Arkansas Community Foundation team up to activate the Disaster Recovery Fund for Northeast Arkansas flood victims.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – THV11 and Arkansas Community Foundation are teaming up to help those affected by recent flooding in our state.

The Disaster Recovery Fund has been activated as part of a “THV11 Helping Home” promise in the wake of historic flooding in Northeast Arkansas to receive donations from the public to support the affected communities’ intermediate and long-term recovery.

The fund is intended to help bridge the gap between the initial burst of giving during immediate relief efforts and the ongoing needs that will continue to emerge as communities rebuild.

Grant recipients from the Disaster Recovery Fund will be selected in partnership with local leaders and officials involved in long-term disaster recovery.

The initial contribution to the Disaster Recovery Fund is a $10,000 designation from Arkansas Community Foundation.

To donate, click here or mail a check marked “Flood” to Arkansas Community Foundation, 1400 W. Markham, Suite 206, Little Rock, AR 72201.
