GRADY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Despite the legal limbo, the men and women who will carry out the executions, if they do go forward, continue their preparations.
A sign of that: Don Davis has been moved to a cell near the execution chamber. Prison officials moved him Friday night, according to his lawyer.
Davis was convicted of murdering 62-year-old Jane Daniel in her home in rogers in 1990.
If Bruce Ward's case remains on hold but the others go forward, Davis would be the first man up for execution. Rulings from the Arkansas Supreme Court and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals will affect whether or not the executions take place.
