FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) – To assist those who fell victim to last week's EF4 tornado, the Arkansas Community Foundation has created a Faulkner County Disaster Recovery Fund.
Heather Larkin, president and CEO of Arkansas Community Foundation, said this fund will be delegated by a committee made up of those living in Vilonia and Mayflower and is intended to provide funding for long-term rebuilding and recovery efforts in Faulkner County.
The first and largest donation came from ExxonMobil, which gave $125,000 for relief efforts. ExxonMobil Vice President of Operations Karen Tyrone presented the check during the official announcement.
