Holiday traffic to be focus for state police

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police have announced plans for a special crackdown on drunken drivers and speeders during the coming July 4 holiday travel period.

State police say troopers along with other state and local law enforcement agencies will increase sobriety checkpoints and speeding patrols as part of the two week operation.

The enhanced enforcement efforts begin June 28 and will continue through July 14.
