Suspect arrested in Hot Springs shooting

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) – A man has been arrested in connection to a Hot Springs homicide that occurred last week.

Around midnight on Friday, officers responded to the 600 block of 2nd Street in reference to shots being fired. Officers found 31-year-old Rodney Brown suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

On Monday, Johnny Carl Moody Jr., 48, of Hot Springs, was arrested for first degree murder for the shooting death of Brown.
