Hot Springs police make arrest in connection with cemetery murder

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Hot Springs police have made two arrests in the investigation of an October 23 homicide.

Steven Wood, 42, of Hot Springs is charged with first degree murder in the death of 31-year-old Cory Richardson, whose body was found at the Greenwood Cemetery.

Stephanie Shell, 21, of Malvern is charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution.

Arkansas Community Corrections Response Team, US Marshals Service, Arkansas State Police, Malvern Police Department and the Hot Spring County Sheriff Department also assisted in the arrests. 

Woods is being held at the Garland County Detention Center on a zero bond. Shell is also being held at the Garland County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
