If you have storm or flooding damage, the city needs your help

In Des Arc, law enforcement and emergency management are keeping a close watch on the White River.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – If you have damage from the severe weather last week, the city of North Little Rock needs you to report it.

Last weekend's storm was severe enough for Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to proclaim Pulaski County along with 37 others disaster areas. This is the first step for the city--and possibly individuals--claiming some disaster assistance funds for all the damage.

The city is compiling the first report now and need to hear from you. If you experienced damage to your home from the storm contact the city’s Director of Emergency Services with your name, address, a contact number, and a brief description of the damage.

Someone from the city will come out to look at the damage, and it will be included in the city's report to FEMA, if appropriate.

For more information or to report damage, contact Leonard Montgomery at lmontgomery@nlr.ar.gov or (501) 340-5365.
