Jonesboro man arrested on rape charges

JONESBORO, Ark. (KTHV) - A Jonesboro man has been arrested on rape charges by the Jonesboro Police Department.

Joseph Tanner Scarbrough, 21, was arrested Friday, September 2 after police received a call about a sexual assault at the Wolf Creek apartment complex. Scarbrough was arrested Friday afternoon but the alleged assault took place around 4:00 a.m.

The victim said she had her drinks spiked while visiting Scarbrough. After being arrested, Scarbrough was released Friday night.

Back in May, Scarbrough was arrested in Pulaski County for violating the Omnibus DWI Act.
