JOHNSON COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- A Johnson County K-9 officer is being called a "hero" after saving the life of a man on a fishing trip.
The man's family reported him missing after he did not return from a solo fishing trip on Friday. K-9 Loki helped lead deputies to a creek bank where they found the man lying in the mud unconscious.
Deputies were able to wake him after several attempts and helped him out of the woods.
The man said he had taken new blood pressure medication and didn't remember anything after fishing on the creek bank.
