Little Rock family receives home from Habitat for Humanity

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Another family is getting a place to call home thanks to Habitat for Humanity.

Recipient of the single parent scholarship fund, Courtnei Williams, got to move into their brand new home Saturday along with her two children. The house was built by Apostle Build Churches as a part of Habitat for Humanity. Williams said she surprised she was chosen.

"I was extremely excited. I thought it would take a while, but it kinda happened really quickly, so I was ecstatic about that," she added.

Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County was founded in 1989 and has built more than 112 homes since then.
