Little Rock police respond to shooting at West 25th Street, 1 dead

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Little Rock Police Department responded to a shooting near the 4500 block of West 25th Street after reports of a "terroristic act."

Police said that 29-year-old Wilford Banks was shot at the scene and later died.

A witness at the scene said that a dark grey Toyota Camry parked alongside a burgundy Kia sedan. The witness told police that the driver shot the Kia, then erratically drove away. 

Banks arrived at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in the Kia. He underwent surgery for multiple gunshot wounds, but it was unsuccessful. 

No suspects have been named yet in the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
