Flu clinics kick off in Little Rock School District

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - In an effort to curb flu outbreaks in central Arkansas, the Arkansas Department of Health partnered with the Little Rock School District to give free flu shots to students and staff.

On Monday, the district held its first clinic at Booker Arts Magnet Elementary School from 9 to 11:30 a.m. There are more planned for the month of October.

Some of those dates include Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Central High School, and Chicot Primary and ECC from 12:30 to 4 p.m.
