LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – One of two brothers charged in the murder and robbery of an El Chico employee was sentenced Thursday.
Deputy Pulaski County prosecutor John Johnson said Kiywuan Perry was sentenced to life without parole for the murder of Jesus Larrious Herrerra.
Herrerra was killed during a robbery of El Chico in April 2012. Four people, all fellow employees of El Chico, were arrested.
Perry's brother Zickeya Perry was sentenced in August 2013 to capital murder and aggravated robbery. He also was sentenced to life without parole.
Johnson said a third person, accomplice Quantez Dobbins, was originally charged with the murder but he is now being allowed to plead guilty to robbery in exchange for his testimony.
A fourth suspect, Kenya Smith, is now charged with hindering apprehension.
