LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (LITTLE ROCK MARATHON) – More than 15,000 athletes and 40,000 spectators will take to the streets on Sunday, March 2nd for the Little Rock Marathon, presented by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette — and many of those streets will be closed for part of the day to create a safe environment for participants both on and off the course.
"These closures provide a safe environment for runners and spectators, as well as the least amount of inconvenience to residents and businesses in our community," said Gina Marchese Pharis, Co-Executive Director of the Little Rock Marathon. "We appreciate the support from everyone who makes this epic event possible."
