LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Little Rock School District may soon be updating athletic facilities throughout the district.
School board president Greg Adams says a facility studies firm evaluated the schools current facilities and gave the district a list of all the needed improvements include improving locker rooms, gyms, making practice fields, field houses, and sports complexes. In total it would cost $60 million.
Adams says the firm will give the district a report with a draft of all the recommendations at the end of this month.
Then the board will discuss all of the findings on August 14 and possibly take a vote on proposed upgrades and changes at the end of August.
