Skeletal remains found near county offices

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – According to the Little Rock Police Department, human skeletal remains have been found inside city limits.

Lt. Sidney Allen told THV11 that the remains, including a skull, were found around 6 p.m. Sunday in an area west of the 3400 block of West 33rd Street after a caller alerted them to the discovery. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators stated the remains were human, but the remains will be sent to the State Crime Lab for identification.

A Google Map search indicated that the Pulaski County Sanitation Department and Pulaski County Animal Services Department both sit in the same area.
