LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in Little Rock have identified the teenage victim they found shot to death on the city's southwest side.
Authorities said Sunday that the victim of Saturday night's shooting was 18-year-old Ketre'vian Gordon.
Investigators say officers responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex a little after 8:12 p.m. and found Gordon lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds to his upper body. Paramedics tried to treat Gordon, but they pronounced him dead at the scene.
A suspect in the fatal shooting was not immediately identified and police did not specify a motive in Gordon's death.
Gordon's death marked the 24th homicide of 2016 in Little Rock. Half of them have occurred in the police department's southwest district.
