Man arrested for drive-by shooting that injured 7-year-old

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A man has been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting that injured a seven-year-old on Tuesday.

According to police, the child was playing in the front yard of a home at the corner of 12th and Washington streets when he was shot in the arm. They believe the intended target may have been on the hill just beyond where he was shot.

On Thursday, 21-year-old Dagon Coleman of Little Rock was arrested and charged with first degree battery, a terroristic act and unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 18-year-old Cavorontre Green of Little Rock and 20-year-old Nykian Raines of Little Rock. They are wanted for 1st degree battery, terroristic act, and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see them, contact the Little Rock Police Department.
