Man beaten with piece of lumber dies from injures, PCSO arrest suspect

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspect who beat a man with a 2" by 2" piece of lumber. Deputies arrested Erin McFadden, 36, at a Motel 6 without incident.

Police allege that Erin McFadden, 36, knocked the victim unconscious with the piece of lumber before leaving the scene at the 700 block of Wildrose Street. The victim was taken to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and died.

He is facing charges of first degree battery, but can be upgraded to homicide.
