Man pleads guilty to attempted enticement of a minor through Craigslist

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - David Frazier, 56, of Little Rock, pleaded guilty to attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sex acts. According to a press release from the Department of Justice, Frazier allegedly communicated through Craigslist with an undercover agent about performing sex acts with the agent's fictional daughter.

On June 6, the Arkansas State Police received a complaint from a person who answered a Craigslist advertisement titled “I know your secret.”

On June 21, the undercover agent answered an identical ad on Craigslist titled “I know your secret” and made contact with the poster, whom the Department of Justice allege is David Frazier.

The ensuing exchanged included graphic detailing of the sex acts the man wanted to perform on the fictional daughter of the agent. A photo of the agent at 8 years old was provided to the man, who was told it was the daughter.

Frazier was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations agents on Sept. 6, at his place of employment, on a warrant based on a criminal complaint charging him with attempted enticement of a minor.

During a search of his office, officers located a gun safe, which was later determined to contain two computer thumb drives, a computer hard drive and sexual paraphernalia. A federal grand jury indicted Frazier on Sept. 12, on one count of attempted enticement of a minor.

After reviewing Frazier’s cellular telephone and the storage devices found in the gun safe, agents discovered pornographic images of children and chat messages between Frazier and someone who said they were 14 years old. In the chats Frazier allegedly asked the minor to send a sexually explicit photo.

Attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sex acts carries a statutory penalty of between ten years and a life term in prison, a $250,000 fine and five years to life of supervised release.
