LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- On September 6, Little Rock police responded to a potential armed robbery. One individual had been shot twice in the shoulder; the other had his hands and feet tied together.
Police secured the scene and determined the first individual to be the victim and the tied individual to be the suspect.
The victim told police that he had been working on his truck in his driveway, when the suspect and other individual approached him from behind and placed a gun to his head. The victim then knocked the gun away with a grease gun.
In the scuffle, a gun discharged rounds into a nearby trailer home and into the victim's right shoulder.
Two neighbors exited the trailer home and successfully disarmed one of the suspects; the other suspect fled the scene on foot.
The two individuals then tied the remaining suspect's hands and feet and called the police.
Police took the tied suspect into custody. He is charged with aggravated robbery and first degree battery. After the arrest, he was transported to Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to UAMS and also was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police determined that both suspects were juveniles.
