NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Thursday marks one year since the fatal drive-by shooting of Samantha Cass Olson, who was driving on McCain Blvd. with her infant child in the backseat when a gun was fired into the vehicle.
Police said Olson crashed her car after the shots were fired, and she was taken to UAMS where she later died. Her child was unharmed in the incident.
North Little Rock police have worked throughout the year to determine a suspect, and on Wednesday they announced that a 24/7 phone line has been activated for anyone with information to call and speak directly to a detective: (501) 680-8439.
Police said they need to identify the driver/owner for a truck believed to be a 2004-2008 maroon four-door Ford F-150 with tinted windows.
A reward of up to $15,000 is reportedly being offered for an arrest and conviction in this case.
