Overnight shooting on Wolfe St. leaves one man dead

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The Little Rock Police Department is investigating an overnight homicide.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report of shots fired at the 3000 block of Wolfe Street. When they arrived at the scene, they located a Ford Taurus parked in the yard with multiple bullet holes in it. They then located 24-year-old Troy Langston dead inside the car.

One witness was interviewed by police, but since the incident occurred late at night, there was limited suspect information. The suspect was described as a man who was wearing a black stocking hat, a black coat and blue jeans. He reportedly ran from the scene.

Police say this was Little Rock’s fifth homicide of 2017.
