Pine Bluff missing couple linked to car found in New Orleans

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) -- Police have found a 2004 Mazda 3 in New Orleans that is linked to a missing Pine Bluff couple.

The car is being processed for evidence in an effort for police to determine what role it has with these missing people, according to the Detective Division of the Pine Bluff Police Department.

On Tuesday, February 28, officers responded to a welfare check at the 4400 block of West 4th Street. Once they arrived, they found the front door open and what they described as a "large amount of blood in the residence."

During the search of the house, officers were unable to find a victim or the residents who lived there. According to police, 62-year-old Molten Oglesby and Stephanie Turntine, who is in her early 40's, lived at the location.

Officers are unsure at this time if the blood came from either Oglesby or Turntine. PBPD responded to the residence on Monday for a disturbance between the two.

If you have any information on the missing couple contact Pine Bluff Police at 870-730-2090 or 870-541-5300.  This investigation is still ongoing.  Stay with THV11 and THV11.com as this story develops.
