Pine Bluff police searching for gas station robbery suspect

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) – Pine Bluff police are asking for the public’s help in locating a gas station robbery suspect.

Just before midnight on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the Valero Gas Station at 3000 E. Harding in reference to a robbery.

The employee on duty reported that a man entered the store, pushed a customer out of the way and ordered the customer to get down.

He then used a handgun to threaten the clerk into opening the safe. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the store with the money and the clerk’s cell phone.  The cell phone was recovered in the parking lot.  The customer had left the store before officers arrived.

The suspect appears to be wearing a red hoodie with gray pants and gloves.

Anyone with information as to who this individual may be is asked to contact the Detective Office at 870-730-2090 or dispatch at 870-541-5300.
