Pine Bluff police searching for missing pair after 'large amount' of blood discovered in house

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - The Pine Bluff Police Department are looking for two people after they discovered a "large amount" of blood inside their residence.

On Tuesday, February 28, officers responded to a welfare check at the 4400 block of West 4th Street. Once they arrived, they found the front door open and what they described as a "large amount of blood in the residence."

During the search of the house, officers were unable to find a victim or the residents who lived there. According to police, 62-year-old Molten Oglesby and Stephanie Turntine, who is in her early 40's, lived at the location.

Turntine's family said they last heard from her around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, but no word on Oglesby.

Oglesby is described as standing 6'3" with short black and grey hair. Turntine is described as being shorter and heavy set. They might be driving a 1998 maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee with the license plate number 940 RYP. Police said that plate number does not belong to that vehicle.

Officers are unsure at this time if the blood came from either Oglesby or Turntine. PBPD responded to the residence on Monday for a disturbance between the two.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of the two, you are asked to contact the Pine Bluff Police Detective Division at (870)-730-2090.
