Police investigating armed robbery at Hillcrest Kroger

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The Little Rock Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Kroger in Hillcrest.

Police say that the robbery happened around 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Kroger located at 614 Beechwood. Reports state that a deliveryman for Gourmet Goods International told investigators that he was on the east side of the store when the suspect approached him and demanded cash. The victim stated that he didn’t have any money, so the suspect demanded his tablet used for making deliveries.

The suspect was described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s. He appeared to be about 5’8” tall and around 160 pounds. He was wearing black scarf, a white t-shirt with black writing and black jeans.

Police were able to track the tablet to an area near JFK Boulevard in North Little Rock, but no arrests have been made at this time.
