Razorbacks tailgating watch party invites amputees, families

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A local non-profit group is holding a tailgating watch party on Saturday, October 8 inviting amputees, their families as well as others to watch the Arkansas vs. Alabama game.

Amputees Beyond Life's Expectations (A.B.L.E.) has a mission to help "empower" people affected the loss. The tailgating is just a taste of their goals to help amputees in Arkansas. A.B.L.E. also offers education, training and support to amputees and families struggling with adapting to their new life.

The tailgate watch party will have food, drinks, games and most importantly they will have the Hogs game on a big screen television. The event will start at 5:00 p.m., one hour before game time, at Burns Park in North Little Rock. A.B.L.E. encourages anyone and everyone to come out and support the local amputee community.

If there is rain, the group will reschedule the watch party for the October 15 game against Ole Miss.
