Winnie Wright sits down with Congressman French Hill to talk about the GOP tax plan.

U.S. Representative French Hill announced Wednesday that his campaign for reelection has raised $185,000 in the last fundraising period of 2017.

Hill was first elected in 2014 and won his first reelection effort in 2016.

"I am proud to serve Arkansans in Congress and look forward to contrasting my record of lower taxes, smaller government and a growing economy against Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats record of higher taxes, bigger government, and a weaker economy," Rep. Hill said.

One of Hill's challenger, Democratic candidate Paul Spencer, announced in early January that his campaign raised around $135,000 in the same time period.

Hill's campaign also announced he has $1.3 million on hand.

Elections for all four congressional districts will be held on Tuesday, November 6.
