LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- President and General Manager Michael Caplan has announced Rob Evans as the newest member of the THV11 This Morning team.
Rob is a Missouri native who most recently worked as morning anchor in Fort Myers, Florida at ABC7. Prior to his work in the Sunshine State, he spent the early part of his career working as sports anchor in Medford, Oregon and later, Springfield, Missouri.
“We know mornings on THV11 will be interesting, informative, and fun with Rob Evans joining Tom Brannon, Laura Monteverdi, and the rest of our team,” Caplan said.
A dad and a husband, Rob said he is so excited to bring his family to central Arkansas where it “already feels like home.” He added, “Being able to raise my two kids in such a naturally beautiful place, with so much to explore and so close to home, is a dream.” Rob, a University of Missouri graduate, loves the outdoors, golf, and being a storyteller.
News Director Dave Parker noted, “I’m thrilled to have Rob joining the THV11 team. He brings experience and energy with a passion for being active in the community -- all things we love and appreciate.”
Rob will officially join Tom and Laura on THV11 This Morning this upcoming Monday, September 19.
