STUTTGART, Ark. (KTHV) – A motive has been determined in the shooting that killed a 20-year-old man in Stuttgart.
According to the prosecuting attorney's office, the suspect, 17-year-old Arthur Hicks Jr., was involved in a robbery that resulted in the death of 20-year-old Daniel Ruffin.
Hicks has pleaded not guilty to one count of capital murder.
According to officials, Hicks is being held without bond at this time. Police said Ruffin was shot in the chest when he was walking his dog one evening last week.
