NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Time nears for families to apply to participate in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program.
Applications will be taken October 4 to 6 and October 11 to 13.
The location has changed has changed this year; applications will be taken at the Salvation Army location in North Little Rock.
Applicants must bring identification and proof of income and living expenses.
"If there's a situation as to why you cannot save money or purchase gifts for your children, we can walk through that with you and talk with you with that,” said Major DeeAnn Glick with the Salvation Army. “And that would probably make you eligible to be part of the program."
For those wanting to sponsor an "angel," the angel trees will be set up in all three major Central Arkansas malls on November 18.
Sponsors can also call the Salvation Army location on Markham Street.
