Jazz in the Park comes back to Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Jazz in the Park is back in Little Rock for the second season!

This year, Jazz in the Park will be split into two sets with the first kicking off in April with each show on Wednesday night from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at History Pavilion in Riverfront Park. (In case of rain, the West Pavilion will be the alternate location for the event.)

The following is a schedule of the bands and when they'll be playing:

  • April 2 – Dizzy 7
  • April 9 – Johnny Burnette Band
  • April 16 – TwiceSax
  • April 23 – That Arkansas Weather
  • April 30 – Art Deco Trio

Jazz in the Park is a free, family-friendly event featuring jazz in downtown Little Rock. No coolers are allowed, but beer, wine, soft drinks, and water will be available for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Sculpture at the River Market. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, and there is some seating in the natural stone amphitheater at the History Pavilion.

This event is sponsored by Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and the River Market, with special thanks to AR Sounds Music Festival and the Central Arkansas Library.
