Second arrest made in murder of Italian tourist

LRPD arrest second suspect in murder of Italian tourist

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A second arrest has been made in the murder of Italian tourist, Carlo Marigliano.

Charina Fort turned herself into police on Saturday, August 5, around 5:35 p.m.

A warrant had been put out for her arrest on August 4. This comes one day after Andre Jackson was arrested by LRPD in Marigliano's death.

Officers were called to 1600 North Shackleford to the Berkley Apartments after 31-year-old Marigliano was found shot to death in a car on July 28. According to LRPD spokesperson Lt. Steven McClanahan, Marigliano was shot and then crashed the vehicle into the side of one of the apartment buildings.

Jackson and Fort are facing capital murder charges in this case. Both are being held in the Pulaski County jail without bond.
