Shooting at Little Rock Sonic leaves one in critical condition

A shooting happened at a Sonic in Little Rock on Wednesday evening.

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KTHV) -- Little Rock police are searching for three suspects involved in a possible attempted robbery with a shooting at the Sonic Drive-In on Chenal Parkway.

Police said that a car pulled into Sonic around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, and an occupant shot one of the female employees multiple times before driving off.  She was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. 

The suspects were described as three black males in their late teens or early 20s. They were said to be driving a 2005/2006 tan four-door Cadillac DeVille with a rag top, customized platinum front grill and temporary Arkansas tags. The vehicle was last seen heading towards Bowman Road. 

Police say they are investigating the incident to determine whether it was an attempted robbery.

The Sonic Drive-In is offering a $20,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects. The reward is funded by the franchisee who owns and operates the drive-in and the Sonic corporate office.
