Six suspects arrested in Hot Springs for battery, aggravated robbery

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - Six people who were wanted for aggravated robbery and second degree battery were arrested in Hot Springs Monday.

Four of the six suspects arrested in connection to the charges were juveniles, but Hot Springs police intend to charge them as adults.

Police arrested 17-year-old Wintrell Coleman, 17-year-old Andrew Brown, 17-year-old Noah Merritt, 17-year-old Marlon Sanders, 18-year-old Landon Davis, and 19-year-old Aaron Connely. Merritt was also charged with theft by receiving and fleeing. He tried to escape from officers, but was promptly apprehended.

According to the police, they believe all of the suspects are "responsible for numerous violent felony acts" which have been committed in the past months.

Police are still searching for a seventh suspect, 18-year-old John Childs. He is wanted for aggravated robbery, second degree battery, criminal mischief, and fleeing. Hot Springs Police Department considers him armed and dangerous.
