Staycations in Arkansas: New high ropes course opens in Little Rock

If you're looking for sky-high adventure, you'll find it at Big Rock Mini Golf and Fun Park in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - If you're looking for sky-high adventure, you'll find it at Big Rock Mini Golf and Fun Park in Little Rock.

“I have been thinking about this ever since I bought the place,” said Maci Hall, owner of Big Rock Mini Golf and Fun Park.

The newly-renovated park recently unveiled the Amazing Aerial Adventure, a 12-element high ropes course.

“You can just choose your elements. There are 12 and some are harder than other and you work your way around,” said Hall. “Everybody is double cabled for 100 percent safety and we have a practice cable so everybody can learn how to do it on the magnet.”

Each element has its own level of difficulty, from an easy stroll across wooden planks, to a crawl through swinging barrels, to a sideways trek along a climbing wall.

“It takes about 20 minutes, I would say, to do all 12 elements. Maybe a little longer depending on your skill and how comfortable you are,” said Hall.

Another new addition is the Amazing Maze, a scavenger hunt maze located underneath the ropes course that the whole family can explore.
