A MOMcation is a vacation for Mom, away from the kids, with the goal of relaxing, renewing and repairing so she can be an even greater Mom when she returns home.
MOMcation 2010 is a retreat featuring opportunities to connect with and learn from other Moms as well as spend some quiet time alone in self-reflection. The retreat is April 23-25 at Heifer Ranch near Perryville, Ark. There will be a tour of the ranch, but attendees will stay in the lodges.
It is being organized by Moms who realize the importance of taking a break from it all to refresh and revive your spirit and connect with who you are, aside from being a Mom.
There are activities and workshops you can pick from or do all or none of them! There will be a wine tasting, book review and even game night. This is really about making this retreat about you and what you want it to be.
Through our sponsorship, we are able to give two moms or moms-to-be scholarships to attend. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is March 21.
