He's expected to be at the Victory building in Little Rock in about an hour for a watch party.

Earlier today, he made many campaign stops, including one at the McGee Center polling site in Conway.

He told us he's not expecting a long night waiting for election results, and from the field today, he felt strong support.

"Well, we're getting a good turnout and we're getting a good turnout in some key counties related to the Baker effort and we're thrilled about that," he says.

Baker adds he's getting some support from Tea Party members. He also said reaching today brought him a "freeing feeling" with the primary campaign over.

Gilbert faces seven other Republican opponents, as well as three Democrats, including incumbent U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln.
