Paudert and Evans were shot and killed Thursday, May 20th after making a traffic stop on Interstate 40 in West Memphis. This tragedy has shocked Arkansans and the Southern States Police Benevolent Association is hoping people will dig into their wallets to help the families the two officers left behind.

A memorial fund has been set up at SunTrust Bank and Wachovia Bank so that the public can assist in the efforts to provide support to the beneficiaries of both fallen officers.  Citizens can make donations directly to these accounts.  These accounts are joint funds, and all money collected will be divided equally. All donations made to this memorial fund are tax-deductible, and 100% of the money will go to the fallen officers' beneficiaries.

You can donate by visiting the Police Benevolent Foundation, Inc. website.
