Prosecutors and attorneys for Dr. Randeep Mann met at a pretrial conference Wednesday. Mann is accused in the February 2009 bombing that injured Dr. Trent Pierce. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
U.S. District Judge Brian Miller urged the attorneys to not drag out the trial, which is expected to begin July 6 and could last at least four weeks. Miller also rejected prosecutors' requests to bring a live grenade into the courtroom, but he said he'd allow them to show jurors some of the machine guns seized from Mann's home.
Mann, a licensed firearms dealer, also faces two counts of illegally possessing a machine gun.
