Prosecutors contend Dr. Randeep Mann put a bomb inside Pierce's car last year in retaliation for the board suspending his prescription writing privileges.
Tuesday prosecutors focused on two aspects, one is the spare tire believed to be used in the West Memphis bombing, and the conspiracy to obstruct charges facing both Dr. Mann and Mrs. Mann.
Mrs. Mann is not being held in custody like Dr. Mann, but the conspiracy charge against her is a serious one. It centers around 29 checks, all blank except for the signature of Sandeep Mann, Dr. Mann's brother who was deported 8 years ago.
And how some seven cars and four watercraft were registered under the identity of Dr. Mann's brother. Those vehicles included a Lamborghini, a Dodge Viper, and a Ford GT, all very expensive automobiles.
After Dr. Mann's arrest, Mrs. Mann took the blank checks and moved them out of Dr. Mann's offices in Russellville.
She told the grand jury she moved them because she thought it would be safer, but agents intercepted a phone call from the jail where dr. Mann instructed her to move those checks and she failed to disclose that to the grand jury.
An agent for the ATF told jurors about their search for the car that the spare tire used in the bombing came from agent is David Oliver and he is the ATF agent in charge of the case.
And Tuesday he talked about the spare tire used in the bombing in West Memphis, and the search for the car it belonged to. Investigators say the spare tire is from a Nissan Altima
A gardener for the Mann's told jurors about a trip with Dr. Mann to Memphis to pick up a spare tire from a man named Pete Patell.
Agent David Oliver told the court they discovered Mr. Patell owned not one, but five Nissan Altimas.
They obtained a search warrant to search Mr. Patell's cars and discovered that one had a full size tire in the trunk instead of the small temporary that came with the vehicle.
But most damaging Tuesday was the testimony of that family gardener, he told the court after Dr, Mann's arrest, Mrs. Mann came to him with several boxes of books and paper, and asked that he destroy those items in a burn pile behind his house.
