Attorneys for Dr. Randeep Mann say he sent the chairman's picture to his brother in India as part of a prayer circle-- not to plan his murder.

Jurors didn't hear that argument in detail because a federal judge said the doctor's 18-year-old daughter couldn't testify about why her father claimed he sent the photo.

U.S. District Judge Brian Miller says Mann must testify about that himself, which seems unlikely.

Prosecutors say Mann planned the February 2009 bombing at Dr. Trent Pierce's West Memphis home in retaliation after the Arkansas State Medical Board revoked his prescription writing privileges.
