CHESAPEAKE BAY, Md. (CNN) - First, birds, now this. An estimated two-million dead fish are found in Maryland's Chesapeake Bay.
State authorities believe stress from a rapid drop in water temperature led to the deaths.
The discovery follows reports of nearly 100,000 dead fish in Arkansas, and thousands of dead birds turning up in Arkansas and Louisiana over the past week.
None of the incidents have been linked.
