LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The man wanted for a 2002 double murder is fighting extradition back to Arkansas from Nevada.
Richard Conte is accused of killing Carter Elliot, 48, and Timothy Robinson, 25, of Conway in 2002.
Conte was in the Carson City Justice Court Friday for an extradition hearing.
In order for Conte to be returned to Arkansas, the prosecution has to ask for a "Governor's Warrant" and then they must go before district court within 30 days.
Conte will remain in a Nevada prison during this process.
