LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Olin and Paula Branstetter never grew tired of flying.
The former Oklahoma lawmaker and his wife cruised over the North Pole when they were in their 50s. Their family says they took to the sky about 10 times a month, even as Olin crept into his 80s.
So why their plane fell out of the sky in central Arkansas last week remains a mystery. The couple died in the crash Thursday, as did the two Oklahoma State University basketball coaches who were on board.
Federal investigators have said weather didn't play a role in the crash near Perryville, Ark. Women's basketball coach Kurt Budke and assistant coach Miranda Serna planned to scout two prospective recruits in Little Rock, about 45 miles to the southeast.
