LITTLE ROCK Ark. (KTHV) -- One man is dead and Little Rock Police are searching for the killer. Police say someone shot 18-year-old Terry Bullard early Saturday morning at 6th and Louisiana near Mediums Night Club.

Jay Davis says, "I just miss my brother, he was outgoing funny, athletic."

A life taken just as it begins. Davis says, "That smile, he could always use that smirk even when you didn't want to laugh."

Davis is dealing with the loss of his best friend, Terry Bullard. His family says Bullard just graduated from Central High; he played football and was going to Henderson State. But now that won't happen.

Little Rock Police found Bullard lying in a parking lot at 6th and Louisiana near the Mediums night club, shot to death. Chief Stuart Thomas says his team is trying to put all the pieces together. Thomas says, "A fight did break out before; we don't necessarily believe the victim was a part of that at this point."

Now family and friends are pulling together to deal with the loss. Annessa says, "He was one of the kids that would just melt you, you had no reason not to like him." Davis' mom Annessa says Terry Bullard is like a second son to her.

Sunday, Rev. Benny Johnson with Stop the Violence held a press conference he says nearly 100 people were outside when someone shot Bullard and he wants someone with information to come forward. Johnson says, "I'm just asking and pleading, actually begging to the community to come forward if you know who did this."

While police are searching for Bullard's killer, his friends are holding onto their memories. Annessa says, "I can't wait to see him again, I love him, and gone but not forgotten."
