FORT BRAGG, N.C. (AP) - Testimony is set to resume in a sex crimes case against an Army general accused of coercing a subordinate and misconduct with four other women.

It's a second day of a hearing at Fort Bragg, N.C., on whether there's enough evidence to proceed with a military trial of Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair. The charges include forcible sodomy, wrongful sexual conduct, engaging in inappropriate relationships and misusing a government travel charge card.

Sinclair was deputy commander of the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan until he was sent home in May during a criminal probe.

The investigation was launched by Sinclair's former commanding officer. Maj. Gen. James Huggins. Huggins testified Monday a female captain told him Sinclair had forced her to have sex, both by physical force and by threatening her career.
